Formation of Financial Literacy at the Mathematics Lessons

The main purpose of the article is to substantiate and illustrate the implementation of interdisciplinary links in the lessons of mathematics in grades 5–6 with a course in financial literacy. The authors justify that the inclusion of tasks of economic content in the teaching of mathematics makes it possible, on the one hand, to develop the subject-matter competences in the field of mathematics, and on the other hand, by means of mathematics, to form the financial literacy of schoolchildren. The article presents the methodology of the mathematics lesson for grade 6, which is the integration of academic subject "Mathematics" and the course "Financial literacy".
