Creating Psychological Comfort in Teaching a Foreign Language

The reason for writing this article is sharing the results of the authors work experience as a high school lecturer. In author’s opinion, combining pedagogical skills and knowledge of psychology is vital for realization of the high school goals. The article gives a critical view of today’s higher education and offers some ways to alter its inconsistencies through the personality approach and using psychological activity motivating methods. Among them are: the method of watching, reinforcement and psychological consultation. To meet the main challenges of higher professional education it is important to rely on the its principles that are aimed at providing students with complex knowledge in the form of the well-structured and unified lesson, interrelation of its parts and given in the comfortable classroom environment which results in learning new material effectively. Besides, much attention should be paid to the quality of the information delivered. Careful selection of the obligatory content of the lesson should be done regarding its relevance and interest for students.
