Problems of Readiness of Graduates of General Educational Schools for Training in Higher Education OrganizationsThe article discusses the problem of the readiness of secondary school graduates in our country to continue their studies at a university. The comparison of the existing federal state educational standards of general education and the documents regulating the final state certification of graduates with federal state standards of higher education of the third generation is given. The lack of continuity of requirements for graduates of secondary schools and the necessary competencies in terms of the implementation of independent cognitive activity of a university student has been revealed. Discrepancies in terms of implementation of standards of general and higher education are highlighted. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that the lack of preparedness of graduates of a comprehensive school for the role of a student of a modern university in our country is to some extent justified by the inconsistency of standards at various levels of education.
