The system of supplementary professional pedagogical training in the area of ecology, health and safety is presented. The author shows a complex of source contents for the programs of supplementary professional pedagogical training in the area of ecology, health and safety; three-stage, cyclic, cascade system of professional upgrade of the educators; areas of activities of the department of health and safety; results of continuous supplementary professional training of teaching employees in the area of ecology, health and safety; risks of failure to achieve the aim of staff assistance in preservation of health and physical training of students. Expressed a supposition that reduction of these risks will let the system of SPPT (supplementary professional pedagogical training) in the area of ecology, health and safety be put on a new level of development.
