The Interaction of University and School: Traditions and Innovations

The theme of the publication is actualized by the understanding of the need to maintain a balance between the introduction of various kinds of innovations in the process of interaction between educational institutions and the preservation of traditions. The materials of the article are aimed at understanding the experience of interaction between secondary and higher education in the context of solving the problem of improving the quality of education, enhancing the development of students. On the basis of philosophical understanding of interaction as "an objective and universal form of movement, development", the content of forms of interaction is determined. The article summarizes the experience of interaction of Bunin Yelets State University with educational institutions of the city and region on the example of the Institute of Philology, reveals the content and identifies areas of interaction between the University and the school in the educational environment of the area. Over the years of cooperation, the school and the University have developed productive forms of interaction (career-oriented, scientific, educational, educational, etc.), allowing to successfully solve many problems aimed at professional orientation of future entrants, the development of scientific, educational and creative potential of students, the education of the younger generation, improving the scientific and methodological qualifications of school teachers. The article emphasizes the important role of the University as a scientific, educational and cultural center of regional importance in the development of productive interaction. Ways of activation of interaction in the unified educational space due to introduction of its new form are offered: introducing winter University school ONYX (Education–Science–Art–Culture–Sport). The author of the article relies on the well-known developments of scientists in the field of pedagogics, psychology, sociology and other sciences, focused on the description of theoretical issues and experience in building various types of interaction.
