The Essence of the Process of Creative Development of Children in the Context of Art Classes in the Environment of Additional EducationIn this article the author discusses the need to change approaches to teaching children in art classes. As an example the piano class of the additional education system is considered. An overview of the consideration of the concept of "creativity" and the essence of "creative development of children" by leading pedagogical schools is given. As a result, the author emphasizes the most important aspects of this process at the present stage, and clarifies its definition in the context of the peculiarities of this educational environment and actual problems of children's piano pedagogy. According to the author, modern children suffer from the negative influence of institutions of socialization and dependence on gadgets. This requires a radical change in the approach to classes, in particular the use of methods that allow in the shortest possible time to achieve the emergence of a "situation of success" and the child's enthusiasm for art. The author identifies the main goals of the lessons at the initial stage, analyzes the pedagogical conditions and deduces the main provisions that modern methods of the creative development of children in piano lessons should correspond to for their acquisition of basic skills in playing the instrument.
