Development of teacher’s technological culture in modern school

Modern challenges to the education system, including the general education school, contribute to the increase of the teacher’s role in organizing the pedagogical process and at the same time to the enhancement of his/her responsibility for the quality of education. The article formulates and substantiates approaches to the formation of teacher's technological culture. The object of this research is development of teacher’s technological culture in modern school as well as his/her self-development to meet new requirements of the modern society. The study focuses on identifying the role and place of technology in the organization of teacher's pedagogical activity in the scientific literature and practice of the Educational Complex "Our School" (Novosibirsk). The paper confirms the necessity to implement the technological approach to training under the modern conditions of a general education school and integrate technological knowledge, knowledge of the academic discipline content and pedagogical knowledge. As an illustration to the theoretical part, the article presents author's approaches to the structure and the level of teacher's professional skills, as well as, to the lessons conducted in a traditional form and by means of new technological model. The paper describes the most important results of the collective work of the Educational Complex "Our School" related to the technologization of teacher’s professional activities. The article is advisable for top managers, headmasters and teachers of general education schools and colleges, specialists of the advanced training system, pedagogical university instructors who adhere to the principles of activity and thought activity pedagogy.
