Information stratification in the digital transformation of education

The introduction of digitalization into the education system involves a comprehensive modernization of information technologies, with the help of which both the full administration of the educational institution and the information support of all members of the educational institution, whether they are participants and organizers of the educational process or university researchers, could be carried out.

Pre-School and Primary Foreign Language Education: Value Determinants and Continuity

Background. The problem context of this micro-research is the creation of a developing professional environment for continuing education of a foreign language teacher in the aspect of understanding the culture-creation mission of the early foreign language education as a value dominant of the individual.

The use of authentic video-materials as a means of formation of students’ foreign language communicative competence in non-linguistic higher education institutions

The author defines the relevance of the study by the need to find out and expand the boundaries of the use of information and communication technologies, including authentic video-materials and methods of working with them for the development of students’ speaking skills and communicative competence. The use of Internet-resources as well as video-materials contributes to the creation of conditions for the formation of the corresponding types of competencies — communicative and informative ones.

Development of teacher’s technological culture in modern school

Modern challenges to the education system, including the general education school, contribute to the increase of the teacher’s role in organizing the pedagogical process and at the same time to the enhancement of his/her responsibility for the quality of education. The article formulates and substantiates approaches to the formation of teacher's technological culture. The object of this research is development of teacher’s technological culture in modern school as well as his/her self-development to meet new requirements of the modern society.

Relations in the system "teacher – students" affecting the quality of training of courses of the discipline "automotive training"

The article investigates the relationship in the "teacher — students" system by means of questionnaires and analysis of the learning outcomes of cadets in a particular discipline. The study of qualitative data reveals that the nature of the relationship between the subjects in this system is one of the signs of communication that affects the quality of training cadets.

The specifics of vocational guidance work in a correspondence university on the example of the Russian Open Academy of Transport

An analysis of the activities of the admission campaign of higher educational institutions of the city of Moscow, as well as a sociological survey, revealed the need for adopting a strategy for attracting a contingent to the ROAT walls and creating a career guidance council of the academy. Mentorship as a tool for accelerated adaptation of new teachers

The article considers a new model of mentoring to facilitate adaptation of new teachers in an online school. The model described is used at Skyeng, one of the largest online schools in Eastern Europe. The article discusses the idea of mentoring, its place and role in the teachers adaptation process, the stages of teacher adaptation and the functions and role of the mentor in each of the stages, as well as psychological and pedagogical aspects of mentoring and the variation in its content depending on what group of students the new teachers are going to work with.

The results of diagnostics of the formation of parents' readiness for social and educational partnership with a rural school

The analysis of various approaches to the concepts of "social partnership", "socio-pedagogical partnership", "socio-educational partnership" is given. The role of rural schools in the formation of parents' readiness for social and educational partnership is demonstrated. The author's definition of a «success situation» is given as an opportunity to achieve an educational result, to evaluate and to experience it as successful. A comparative analysis of the theoretical approaches and concepts of A. S. Makarenko, V. A. Sukhomlinsky, A. S. Belkin, S. A. Amonashvilli and others, as well as their concepts of «tomorrow's joy», «joy of knowledge», «joy of cooperation», respectively, is carried out.

Digitalization in professional activity of a school teacher

Digitalization as a means of achieving goals of modern education significantly influences professional activ-ity of a school teacher by imposing new requirements on the competence characteristics the teachers should possess.
