Main Concepts of Educational Field «Technology » in «3D Modeling and Prototyping»

In the educational field of Technology, many attempts have been made to increase the interest of schoolchildren to the subject: new approaches to organizing classes were developed, new tools were used, etc. Using the capabilities of 3D modeling in the classroom, taking into account its integrative content, allows us to combine and significantly enrich any section of the educational field of Technology. The purpose of the work is to study and analyze the possibility of students to master the basic concepts of the educational field of Technology in the process of studying the content line of «3D modeling and prototyping». 204 students from Kuzbass schools took part in the study. Research methods: testing, review of results, pedagogical observations, performance assessment. Pedagogical conditions for qualitative changes in the process of schoolchildren studying the discipline «Technology» have been identified and empirically tested, with the inclusion of the content line «3D modeling and prototyping»: increased interest in the learning process, improved performance in the subject and related disciplines. 3D modeling is the most suitable integration center that brings together almost all the concepts of the modern subject «Technology»; its study significantly increases students’ interest of the subject, schoolchildren’s performance increases both in the subject «Technology», and in related disciplines.
