Students in the Application of Immersive Technologies When Conducting Volunteer Events in the Field of Road Safety

Forming the skills of schoolchildren and students in the use of immersive technologies when conducting volunteer events in the field of road safety is one of the goals in the system of additional education of the Russian Federation. There is no data in the literature on master classes conducted to develop the skills of volunteer groups of schoolchildren and students when they implement productive projects using immersive technologies aimed at developing skills for safe behavior of children on the roads. The study shows five master classes, describes them and analyzes the quantitative results of a survey of teachers, student volunteers and student volunteers. The results obtained indicate the effectiveness of the approach to developing the skills of volunteers to work with immersive technologies, that makes it possible to improve the quality of activities conducted by volunteers aimed at developing children’s safe behavior skills on the roads and their overall level in the field of personal productive project activities. The results of the study expand the possibilities of developing skills in working with immersive technologies for different age groups of volunteers.
