The image of the teachers of the Siberian national schoolsThe study is dedicated to teachers of national schools that were created in Soviet Russia. The specific object of study was the teachers of Latgalian schools. Latgalian were recognized as an independent ethnos exclusively in the RSFSR (USSR). A significant number of immigrants from Eastern Latvia — Latgale lived in the territory of Western Siberia. It was here that they were given the opportunity to create national theaters and schools, to print literature and time editions in their native language. The school and its important structural unit — the teaching — are important components of the protection of national-cultural identity. The study attempts to recreate the image of the teacher of the Latgale national school: its educational qualifications, social origin. The author also traces the attitude of the teacher to the performance of his work. The main sources of research were materials from the State Archives of the Novosibirsk Region. The study is supplemented by regulatory documents that determine the salaries of teachers, and in general, their legal status.
