USE as an Indicator of the State for the Language Education in the Region

Statement of the problem. The issue of assessing the quality of language education among graduates of secondary schools, gymnasiums and lyceums in the Russian Federation remains an unresolved problem. This, in particular, is due to the fact that for many years the evaluation system at school depended on teachers themselves: they both created evaluation materials and also carried out verification. In this regard, the task was set to create a system of indicators based on obtaining objective information about the results of training in accordance with educational standards at the level of an educational institution for making managerial decisions. One of such indicators of the language education state is the results of the Unified State Exam, as well as to study the dynamics of the growth of test scores in English and German over the past three years, to analyze the difficulties encountered in the performance of tasks by graduates and to prepare recommendations for teachers on teaching technology and the implementation of exam tasks. The results of the scientific search in the framework of this study are presented in the review and analysis of the USE potential in the objective assessment of the quality of foreign language education in the Novosibirsk region.
