ACTUAL ISSUES OF CULTIVATING PEDAGOGICAL SKILLS OF PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS

The article raises some of the problems how to cultivate pedagogical skills at music education institutions. The purpose of the article is to survey some social and cultural values of professional orientation that require a detailed methodological monitoring and a topical and meaningful conceptual framework for the process of teaching. Modern approaches to pedagogical education of students open new goals and ideas, in particular, there arises a necessity for a quick adjustment of some set patterns which are modulated by time and academic, life and business situations of the fast-changing world. Given all this, some fundamental premises should remain unchanged which ensures the continuity of activity for both music educators and students. Results. Nowadays at the age of technologization and technocratization of the whole life, the issue of how to preserve and transfer humanistic ideas, ideals, and eternal values of music art as the core of academic upbringing and education to the younger generation is very crucial. We can state the fact of an increased standardization in educating students of creative professions both in Technology and Knowledge Content, and we consider strengthening of the personality of teacher/ student activities very important and productive. As is the case, this approach relies on self-knowledge, self-education and self-expression that should be supported by powerful methodological monitoring. Attitudes and traditions of an educational establishment are of great importance ensuring the preservation of the best achievements in upbringing, education and the continuity of generations, and having socio - cultural and socio - creative meaning. Dealing with the priorities of the pedagogical education the author relies on the experience of the Music Education Department of the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. I. Glinka which integrates the activities of the whole educational establishment.
