Specifics of Exploring StudentIntercultural Sensitivity in terms of Current Foreign Language Acquisition

This study portrays a number of effective foreign language teaching techniques for measuring intercultural sensitivity as a device for effective intercultural communication and dialogue between cultures that can be established by young people in a modern society. Given the priorityto this issue, the current study views intercultural sensitivity within the frames of interethnic conflict growth; international aggression within the increased globalization and migration. Then we processed how a detailed analysis of scientific and theoretical literature in intercultural communication and social psychology might be turned intoa factor item that influence the level of intercultural sensitivity of the modern youth: gender, nationality, level of education, foreign language proficiency, experience of academic mobility, etc. Exploring the developmental model of intercultural sensitivity created by MiltonJ. Bennett is an effective approach to view the dynamic progression from ethnocentric to ethnorelative socially active stages.Based on the developmental cycle of empathy and sensitivity, the broader observation here is a beneficial identification tool of the sensitivity rate because such concepts as «language», «culture», «intercultural competence», «intercultural communication» might clarify their meaning in modern materials, designed in the context of the principles of authentic-, practice-, novelty-, selectivity-, problem-based and student-oriented foreign language communication techniques.
