SongFest of Children: Educational Effects

The children’s festival movement of the author’s song in Western Siberia, despite its high activity, has not yet been the subject of a separate study. The cultural semantic space of a constantly sounding author’s song at a children’s festival has a great educational impact on the child, thatoccurs during its main events. For the first time, based on the generalization of many years of festival experience (methods of observation, opinion poll, content analysis, expert opinion of the jury, etc.), the educational resource of the children’s festival has been analyzed. Thus, participation in festivals is considered as motivation for the personal growth of the child, and as a means of influencing his cognitive, creative and general development.
