Improving Students’ Communicative Skills in Additional Foreign Language Education

This article is devoted to the improvement of schoolchildren’s communicative and creative skills and abilities of in the process of teaching a foreign language (FL) in the system of additional foreign language education. An important direction of the circle work is the purposeful and conscious pupils’ improvement of speech skills and abilities in the process of fulfilling special tasks in listening, speaking and reading. By their nature they may differ from those traditionally used in the lessons of the FL, or complement and expand them. One of the tasks of the teacher is to choose an appropriate direction, to implement the suggested club activities or, relying on them, to develop his own methodology according to students’ experience and abilities in the system of additional foreign language education.
