The research presents axiological aspects of a leadership in current education that concern the choice of relevant instruments for effective professional interaction of the participants in the process of creating a humanitarian universe. The purpose of this study is to obtain arguments for a socially significant role of a leader in search of a corpus of regional humanitarian activities within the modern society and current education realia of the postmodernism era.

Actual Aspects of Teaching Academic Writing in Russian: Methodology and Technology (Based on the Work Experience of Universities With Foreign Postgraduate Students

The relevance of this research is explained by the importance of studying the attitude of foreign postgraduate students towards the teaching of authorial stance expression in order to develop a methodology for teaching foreign postgraduate students to express an authorial stance in a scientific text. The research presents the results of an anonymous survey conducted in April 2022 among 53 foreign postgraduate students studying at the universities in St. Petersburg.

Additional Foreign Language Education for Adults: Didactic Aspects

The article deals with the issues of increasing the level of foreign language competence of practitioners in the field of tourism and hospitality. The growth of tourists in the region, including foreign ones, entails the need to increase the level of their foreign language training. The purpose of the article: to present a didactic basis for the development of content for additional foreign language education for workers in the regional tourism and hospitality sector. The methodological basis of the study was the competence-based, regional and andragogical approaches.

Tutor Support for junior Schoolchildren With Autism Spectrum Disorders

This article continues a series of publications devoted to one of the urgent problems of modern education — the organization and implementation of tutor support for students with disabilities. Its purpose is to describe the specifics of tutor support for younger schoolchildren with autism spectrum disorders as the most specific group of students with disabilities in terms of the heterogeneity of manifestations of developmental disorders and the arsenal of tutor practices used.

Improving Students’ Communicative Skills in Additional Foreign Language Education

This article is devoted to the improvement of schoolchildren’s communicative and creative skills and abilities of in the process of teaching a foreign language (FL) in the system of additional foreign language education. An important direction of the circle work is the purposeful and conscious pupils’ improvement of speech skills and abilities in the process of fulfilling special tasks in listening, speaking and reading. By their nature they may differ from those traditionally used in the lessons of the FL, or complement and expand them.

Organization of Physical Education Classes at the University in the Conditions Of Distance Learning in Connection With the Coronavirus Infection

The article presents a comparative description of the physical fitness of students belonging to the special medical group (SMG), who entered the NSPU in 2018 (full-time education) and 2020 (distance learning). The organization of selfstudy using a new form of diary for students in the conditions of distance learning in connection with the coronavirus infection is shown. To assess the effectiveness of using the diary of independent studies of distance learning students, indicators of physical fitness were compared with full-time students.

Optimization of Teaching Lower Classes of Children’s Arts School to Play the Accordion

The article is devoted to one of the important problems - increasing the motivation for learning in children. The author, summarizing her own experience, proposes pedagogical techniques and methods that help to increase the motivation of primary art school pupils. The tendency in modern music pedagogy: the activation of musical and aesthetic education process is due to the paramount role of creativity in understanding the world, the need for comprehensive personal development, child’s natural activity, requiring creative functioning, close and familiar from childhood.

The article substantiates the cognitive approach acceptability using digital resources in professional teaching of English word formation through such an organization of educational activities, which includes tasks and exercises aimed at the development of word-formation competence and creative abilities of students-methodologists.

The Content and Language Integrated Learning methodology, where content is taught by means of a foreign language, can become one of the options for solving the problem of reducing the hours allocated for teaching a foreign language in universities. However, the analysis of the psychological and pedagogical features of Content and Language Integrated learning indicates an increase in the cognitive load, both on students and teachers.

How the Philosophy of Education by Jean Jacques Russo’s Correlates With the Ideas of Naturalism

The article analyzes the philosophical and pedagogical concepts of the French philosopher, teacher and writer of the 18th century Jean Jacques Rousseau. His contribution to Western education lies in the fact that for the first time in the history of pedagogical thought, he placed the theory of age-related education of children at the center of the philosophical and educational system. In this theory he developed the ideas of naturalism and thus eliminated everything that interfered with the natural development of the child.
