Topical Issues of the Methodology for Surveying Professional Burnout of Higher Education Teachers

The purpose of his work is to scrutinize the potential of cross-training as a compliance tool for inter- and multidisciplinary learning in order to prevent professional burnout of higher education teachers. The novelty of the scientific research is determined by the lack of studies proving the efficacy of cross-training adaptation in an educational context.

Methodical Competence as a System-Forming Component of Professionalism of a Modern Teacher

This article actualizes the problem of continuous professional development of teachers as a key factor in improving the quality of school education, creating a sovereign education system in Russia. Studying Chinese as a Foreign Language Within the Framework of Russian-Chinese Cooperation

Nowadays, in the globalized world, Standard Chinese has become an influential and universal language, being the second most important language in the world after English. It is not surprising that the number of people wanting to start learning Chinese is growing so rapidly. Since the end of the last century, there have been departments for training Chinese language teachers in Russian universities, where you can study the language in combination with a second subject in order to obtain the profession of a Chinese language teacher.

Teaching Listening as a Way of Boosting Young Learners Cognitive and Moral Development

The article presents the actual issues of teaching listening skill in the foreign language for young learners as a way of boosting their cognitive and moral development. It is scientifically proven that cognitive development and speech activity are interconnected. As phonemic hearing and working memory are the main mechanisms in listening, a teacher needs to devote special learning time to develop these processes.

School Physics Experiment: Studying Alpha Particles

The purpose of this article is to discuss the problem of teaching the basics of nuclear physics in a school course. Based on the analysis of numerous sources on the school demonstration experiment, the authors consider the use of demonstration equipment in the study of the topic «Elementary particles». The main objectives of the article are to improve the situation with the observation of the properties of alpha particles, that is difficult to reproduce in practice, and to compile methodological recommendations for working with such equipment.

Educational Shifts of Schoolchildren’s Preparation for the All-Russian English Language Olympiad

The article discusses the possibility of using local history material (the history of one’s hometown) to instill in schoolchildren love for the «small» Motherland, and through it, love for the Fatherland. An example is the course «Irkutsk Knowledge», the teaching of which began in Irkutsk schools in 2020-2021. The purpose of the article is to talk about the Irkutsk experience of introducing the regional course “Irkutsk Studies” in city schools.

Educational Shifts of Schoolchildren’s Preparation for the All-Russian English Language Olympiad

This article is devoted to the consideration of the peculiarities of organizing educational shifts in year-round health camps, the main purpose of which is to prepare students for the All-Russian Olympiad in English (regional and final stages). Simply mastering the general education program will not help in solving Olympiad tasks, so educational shifts with the correct organization of a training module similar to camp gatherings with the help of qualified personnel from higher education are of particular relevance.

Development of Students’ Reading Literacy

The article is devoted to the problem of formation and development of functional (reading) literacy of students in the context of implementation of the updated FSES. The updated standards predetermine the actual aims of the English language teacher, as well as the priority directions in the work. Consequently, the aim of the research is to identify effective ways of developing schoolchildren’s functional (reading) literacy at English language lessons.
