This article deals with the problem of development and formation of the communicative competence of students with disabilities of the musculoskeletal system within the framework of a week of correctional pedagogy. The importance of development of communicative actions providing the students' social competence allowing to build them productive relationships with the others is underlined in the article.

We describe the problem of professional readiness of teachers to implement the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and to educate children with limited health abilities. Teacher’s professional discourse is presented as a verbal objectification of readiness. In addition, we give research studies of teaching environment helping to change professional discourse of a speech therapist in the process of retraining.

We underline the necessity of training specialists and speech therapists in the area of the oral-aural rehabilitation of children after cochlear implantation.
