The rapidly changing educational space within the transition to digital technologies determines the problem area of this study. The main goal of this study covers the identification of the perspectives for the development of the professional competencies of an educator in line with the processes of instability and uncertainty. The subject of this researchconsiders the system of advanced training of college teachers.

This article presents the pedagogical devices considered as effective for the military-patriotic education of the youth. Gamification as an innovative approach is under consideration in this research. As is the case, gamification analyzed asa didactic means in this researchis intended for teenagers, purposefully, in the aspect of the military-patriotic activity of the youth in Russia, schoolchildren, cadets, and students.

This article presents the role of the project activity of schoolchildren both in the increasing interest towards the subject, and in the development of the likely personality qualities, i.e. responsibility, hard work, collectivism, curiosity, and aesthetic effects. The stages of the implementation of this activity are highlighted when the project method is included into the educational process. The psychological characteristics of each stage, i.e. the organization of work, recommendations for the implementation of pedagogical activities, are under thorough consideration in this study.

This article reflects the meaning and form of the history lesson of modernity that is in the focus of the social and cultural attention nowadays in the aspect of message and expression concepts at school. The main goal of this research is to show pluses and minuses of the implementation of novel educational technologies as a process of cultivating novices in teaching and learning foreign languages.

This paper reveals the logic and structure of the advanced training program for educational leaders through the project approach. As a result, the basic elements of the educational model for the development of financial culture in an educational organization are presented. In conclusion, the authors state the fact that the teacher has the opportunity to build up the system for the formation of a culture of competent financial behavior of children, adults, pensioners, and other target audiences.

The article analyzes the philosophical and pedagogical concepts of the English scientist, philosopher and educator of XIX century, Herbert Spencer. His contribution to Western and Russian education lies in the fact that he took as a basis for the evolutionary theory of Charles Darwin «On the Survival of the Fittest Species», and for the first time in the history of pedagogical practice applied it to the education system called social Darwinism.
