The article considers a new model of mentoring to facilitate adaptation of new teachers in an online school. The model described is used at Skyeng, one of the largest online schools in Eastern Europe. The article discusses the idea of mentoring, its place and role in the teachers adaptation process, the stages of teacher adaptation and the functions and role of the mentor in each of the stages, as well as psychological and pedagogical aspects of mentoring and the variation in its content depending on what group of students the new teachers are going to work with.

The article deals with the problem of developing an ESP course for university students in the context of a student-centered approach. The main attention in the article is drawn to the fact that in the process of study-ing and teaching English for special purposes, the needs of the student, the analysis of typical professional communicative situations, the rules of successful communication come to the fore. A unique feature of ESP courses is their dual nature – they combine language teaching with content teaching.

The article analyzes the experience of creating and implementing the master's program «Theater Pedagogy» at Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University.
