The Individualization of the Educational Process as Means of Forming and Developing Students’ key Competences

The education should become more individualized, functional and efficient. This task is solved through the individualization of the process, when a teacher and a student become equal subjects of education. The main aim of education in the sphere of teaching foreign languages in a special or professional direction supposes the development of professionally oriented intercultural communicative competences of students. The author also considers communicative foreign language competences, as well as socio-cultural, professional, educational, methodical and other competences.

Experience of Development of Pedagogical Education in the Context of All-Russian Tendencies

The process of modernization of pedagogical education in the context of All-Russian tendencies is considered in the article. Models of teachers' training that exist in Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPSU) are presented. The experience of realization of multi-level education is summarized; the efficiency of existing practices of teachers’ training in Russian universities is discussed. Special attention is paid to the analysis of system changes in pedagogical education in Russian Federation.

The Interaction of University and School: Traditions and Innovations

The theme of the publication is actualized by the understanding of the need to maintain a balance between the introduction of various kinds of innovations in the process of interaction between educational institutions and the preservation of traditions. The materials of the article are aimed at understanding the experience of interaction between secondary and higher education in the context of solving the problem of improving the quality of education, enhancing the development of students.

Actualization of Scientific Research in the Field of Modern Education

Problem solution of coordination and consistency of scientific research in the field of education is highly correlated to actualization of research areas. Common practice of science and routine educational process interaction hardly reflects not only modern education needs but developing modern society, and often appears to be continuation of directions and subjects of previous century in its contents.

Interaction of the Content of Biological Education and the Results of All-Russian Testing Works

The article is devoted to the analysis of the results of all-Russian testing works on biology in the 5th grade, in particular, the analysis of the participation of students in the Novosibirsk region. Decrease in the level of performance when passing from the fourth grade (the World around) to the fifth (Biology) both in Russia and in the region, confirms this fact, obtained in other studies. The article considers the factors that influence the results. It highlights the tasks that proved to be difficult for students in the Novosibirsk region, compared with students in Russia.

The article poses the problem of organizational and substantial updating of the system of additional professional education of teachers, the creation of competence models on the basis of educational technologies of the activity type.

Mentoring as the Form of Psychology-Pedagogical Support of Adolescents Who are Growing in Adopted Families

The article deals with the problem of psychological and pedagogical support of adolescents who are brought up in substitute families. The specificity of the adolescent period and the conditions of deprivation create special difficulties in adapting these children to a substitute family.

  In the article we present our view on the implementation of the scientific principles in general education.
