The relevance of this research is explained by the importance of studying the attitude of foreign postgraduate students towards the teaching of authorial stance expression in order to develop a methodology for teaching foreign postgraduate students to express an authorial stance in a scientific text. The research presents the results of an anonymous survey conducted in April 2022 among 53 foreign postgraduate students studying at the universities in St. Petersburg.
